Description
This tool is used to wrap the rods around to make them pliable for weaving. There are three sizes to use depending on how large the basket is and what radius you need.
Get the Willow ready to weave with this tool, You wrap it around the tool and it breaks the fibers just enough to make it easier to weave.
Large Willow Tamer is 5 1/2″ in diameter.
Those that have this tool have told me they like it.
I have had a few Weavers that want a willow Tamer made to their specifications. Let me know if this is the case and I will make any size Willow Tamer that you would like.
History of the Willow Tamer
This is a tool came about because Weaver contacted me wanting something similar to this and over a period of a few days we developed the willow Tamer. This is why you won’t find a Willow Tamer being sold anywhere else.
